How to use
- Wash the rice before cooking.
- Cook in 2.5 parts water to 1 part rice for approximately 40-45 minutes.
- Ideal for use in wholemeal paellas, side dishes, stir-fries or salads.

Recipe: Brown rice stew with vegetables
Ingredients (2 people):
- 150 g Calasparra brown rice
- 1 carrot
- 1 green pepper
- 1 grated tomato
- ½ onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 600 ml vegetable stock
- Olive oil, salt, turmeric and paprika
Preparation:
- Sauté the onion, garlic, carrot and pepper in a saucepan.
- Add the tomato and spices and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the rice, sauté and pour in the hot stock.
- Cook over medium heat for 40-45 minutes.
- Let stand for 5 minutes and serve.
