What is green coffee?

Green coffee is the raw, unroasted coffee bean. If there is one thing green coffee is known for, it is its high antioxidant content and its diuretic functions. It also promotes circulation, lowers blood glucose levels and helps to improve cellulite.

How to use

Formats for drinking green coffee:

1. Green coffee infusions: this consists of infusing the coffee beans directly. Boil water in a saucepan until it covers approximately one finger 2 tablespoons of green coffee beans. Leave for 15-30 minutes until they swell. Add another cup of water and let the infusion simmer for 5 minutes. Leave to steep and serve. The green coffee infusion for weight loss is recommended for a maximum of 2 cups a day.
2. Another way to prepare your green coffee infusion is by grinding the beans and using a plunger coffee maker. In this case, the recommended proportions are 2 tablespoons of ground green coffee to make 2 cups of infusion. Bring water to the boil, add the ground coffee, strain and serve in a cup
